Wine Fest 2007

Yesterday afternoon I had the distinct pleasure of attending the Naperville Wine Festival. After hours of mingling with the yuppies, eating smoked salmon on a stick, chewing rare French lavender caramels, and sipping on a variety of wines, I became inspired to explore the possibilities of making my own wines. In particular, I would like to venture into making my own fruit wine.

This recipie looks easy enough for a newbie wine maker:
Apple Juice Wine

It takes months to end-up with the final product, and involves siphoning the sediment out using your mouth, but the end result seems worth all the time and trouble.

I can see it now...

P.S.
The Ramblin’ Kangaroo label design contest is now accepting entries.
