Last night I came across this cute hair styling "how-to" video on YouTube.

How To: Create an Evening Look in Minutes



I’m always looking for new and elegant ways to wear my hair up. This seemed easy enough to do, so I meticulously studied the video several times, grabbed my brush, pins, and spray, and went to town.

My Finished Result:

What you need to pull off this look, but was not mentioned in the video:
Not curly hair
Thick, long locks
A professional hairstylist
A model’s brain so you can say smart and clever comments like “I like how big it is”.
NOT curly hair

What I learned...
*Don’t tease curly hair...ever!

My stubborn nature surly wasn’t going to allow one bad attempt at an updo spoil my night...no sir.
